Polyglyceryl-4 caprate is a water-soluble emollient - it is PEG-free and non-irritating. Based on polyglycerols, it is nitrogen free and thus will not contribute to nitrosamine formation. It is used as a refatting agent in body washes, soaps, and bath oils. It is also used as an emulsifier.
