What is niacinamide and what does it do?

Naturally found in our skin, acetyl glucosamine is the building block for hyaluronic acid. It promotes very mild exfoliation for fresher, smoother, and more supple skin. When combined with niacinamide, it also helps to even out the skin tone and improve the appearance of dark spots.

What is acetyl glucosamine and what does it do?

Ectoin is an “osmolyte,” a small molecule that helps protect skin cells from the effects of harsh environments, such as hot springs, salt lakes, desertic climates, and arctic ice. It does so by retaining a lot of water on the skin, even on the driest day, so that our skin barrier does not have to overwork to keep the skin hydrated and protected.

What is ectoin and what does it do?

We recommend applying it twice per day, once in the morning and once at night.

How often can I use the 5% Niacinamide Serum with Ectoin?

Yes. However, you may notice better results if you wait at least 15 minutes before layering the 5% Niacinamide Serum with Ectoin over (or under) another product.

Can I layer the 5% Niacinamide Serum with Ectoin over other products?

You may notice an immediate improvement in hydration, and after a few weeks of use, the evenness, brightness, and smoothness of your skin texture should also start improving.
